Walk through the St. Andrew's churchyard, and (I'd wager) you'll see one of the best views in the Midlands.

Looking south-west, you'll see the Clent Hills, the Malverns, and... Merry Hill.              Hmmm.

Responses to the £22 million pound shopping centre (in 1988!) are certainly mixed.

Someone at some point thought it represented a future of prosperity, choice, and material wealth.

Now though, it sits oddly on the horizon like an abandoned project.

What's next for it? And how will our horizons change again?
